what led me here

Hi, I’m Joelene.

I’ve worked in the health and wellness industry for more than 15 years and spent over a decade owning and running businesses of my own.

I know what it’s like to work ridiculous hours, undercharge, say yes to everything and try to be everything to everyone. I’ve changed direction, made mistakes, rebuilt and learnt what works—and what absolutely doesn’t.

Becoming a certified menopause coach helped me understand the changes women experience through midlife: the brain fog, low energy, disrupted sleep and shifting capacity. But I also began noticing something bigger.

Women weren’t only struggling with their health. They were crashing under the weight of businesses that depended on them for everything.

I realised the problem was never a lack of motivation. It was trying to run a business that wasn’t built for the life we actually had—or the women we had become.

That realisation shaped the way I coach today.

I look at the whole picture: your goals, health, energy, capacity, confidence, family, time and the business itself. Because a business that succeeds while you fall apart isn’t success. It’s a slower version of the same problem.

The methodology I use isn’t something I invented last year. I’m certified in the proven Fempire framework, which combines practical business strategy with a deep understanding of the woman building the business.
